Sell your art
With Basement Picasso, you can sell your artwork on line with minimal effort. The steps are simple.
- Subscribe to Basement Picasso
- Login (once your account is activated)
- Add artwork (as shown below)
When somebody buys your picture.
If somebody likes your picture and wishes to buy it, then they will first reserve it. You will get an email notifying you of this. Once they have paid (via paypal), you will be instructed (by email) to post the item to the purchaser. Full details will be included in that message.
Once they have received the item, the customer has 14 days to accept or reject it (under the terms and conditions) - for any reason. If they are happy with the picture, and accept it, then the funds, less commission will be sent by paypal or cheque, whichever you prefer.
To put your artwork up for sale
1) Click add artwork on the left hand menu
2) Fill in the details on the form
You can use the link to suggested price to assist in picking a price for your artwork. Use the calendar icon to set the date
3) Upload an image for the picture
Browse to a suitable JPG image on your computer. Note the maximum pixel and file size. A thumbnail will be created automatically. If you do not have the ability to upload an image, you can send a photo in to be scanned at no charge.
